Flaherty Charters Fish On

 The Flaherty’s offer fishing that is truly, extraordinary.Most charter boat here offer trolling trips using heavy wire line, stiff rods, and tube or umbrella rigs. Two poles are set in pole holders on the stern and the wait begins. Eventually, the fish hit the lure and hook themselves. Usually the boat does not slow down after a hookup and the fish is then hauled in flopping on the surface.. On the other hand, Capt. Flaherty and his crew use fresh and  often, live bait and light tackle rods with 10-15lb test line. Every guest has a rod in his or her hands and are instructed by the crew. On a Flaherty trip, the guests are actually taught how to hook and land the fish. The thrill of actually feeling the bass crash the bait at incredible speed and then as  the rods tip bends like a straw in the wind, the bass  screams  off 150 feet of line.  The battle begins.
