Interphase Probe - The Probe from Interphase Technologies, Inc. lets you see
what the future has in store for you. Working like an underwater radar, the Probe scans a moving
beam vertically from just below the surface to directly beneath the boat to show "live action"
views of shallowing bottom conditions, underwater structure, large forward obstructions and even
fish and schools of bait out ahead of your boat.

Fishing Tackle
 |
 |
The Flaherty Charter crew uses only the most reliable tackle to suit the fish size, sea conditions and the preferences
of our clients. We will always try to utilize light tackle for big bass and blues. We therefore employ a variety of
rods including the St. Croix line of graphite rods and usually Penn 704Z or lighter spinning gear with 10 to 15 pound
test line.
Some clients are more interested in trophy bass so we may use Daiwa L.D.50 reels and Penn Slammer SLC266 AX6'6
rods which we think are well suited for rip fishing where the big bass often appear.
We also like a lighter Ugly Stick BWB1130 6'6" medium action 15-30 lb. Sigma Class. With this rod you will get real up close and personal with the bass and
feel every shake of his powerful head without losing the ability to turn the fish if you must.
For shark fishing and
bigger game fish we like the 6' Chaos Stand Up Trolling rods equipped with Fuji guides. They are made in Lake Worth
Florida. We use Penn 4.0 & 5.0 and sometimes the reliable Newell 447-5 and of course the famed Internationals.
Whatever
your favorite gear might be we will try to accommodate you with advanced notice.
